I’ll have two small artworks in the show, a small drawing and a small oil painting. We were asked to provide a poem that inspired the work, and I turned to “As Time Goes By,” from my favorite film, Casablanca.
The show opens Wednesday, November 23 and runs through Saturday, Dec 17.

Gordon is showing urban-themed oil paintings and drawings, skylines, street scenes, figurative work, including some inspired by Soho Tea&Coffee, the venue. Thanks to owners Helene Bloom and Fran Levine. Opening reception is Sunday, April 23, 4 to 6 pm. The work will be up from Monday, April 17 to Sunday, June 25.

A dozen or so members of Studio Gallery studied with Bill Christenberry at the Corcoran. He was a renowned DC artist who passed away in 2016. We’re paying tribute to his influence and inspiration.
